Trash Collection Schedule

Dumpster: Monday and Thursday pick-up
White Goods: 3rd Wednesday of the month
Special White Goods: 3rd Wednesday of the month
Recyclables: Every other Friday 
Bulk: 1st and 3rd Friday of the month

COMPUTER & TELEVISION DISPOSAL:

AS OF JANUARY 1, 2011, TELEVISIONS AND COMPUTERS (INCLUDING LAPTOPS AND MONITORS) ARE BANNED FROM ALL LANDFILLS AND INCINERATORS IN NEW JERSEY. THIS BAN IS MANDATED BY THE 2009 STATE ELECTRONIC WASTE MANAGEMENT ACT.

The above-mentioned items CANNOT be placed for TRASH PICK-UP and no waste hauler is permitted to collect them. Listed below are some options for removal:

Location: 501 Evesboro-Medford Road, Marlton, NJ 08053. Hours:
Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. & Saturday from 8:00 a.m.

Goodwill Donation Centers – Open to all residents during normal business hours. Locations: Bordentown, Lumberton, Maple Shade, Medford, and Willingboro. For donation center locations visit www.goodwill.org.

Some electronic retailers will take your old merchandise when they deliver a new one to your home.

YOU ONLY NEED TO SORT YOUR RECYCLABLES INTO TWO GROUPS:

  1. PAPER & CARDBOARD
  2. BOTTLES, CANS & CARTONS

RECYCLE THESE ITEMS:

PAPER/CARDBOARD: Newspaper, cardboard, phone books, catalogs, magazines, paperback books, cereal & tissue boxes, shredded paper, school and office paper.
METAL CANS: Soda, soup coffee and non-hazardous aerosol cans.
GLASS BOTTLES & JARS: Clear and colored wine and beer bottles, soft drinks, etc.
PLASTIC BOTTLES & JARS: Plastic milk bottles, laundry detergent, coffee & soda
bottles,etc.
CARTONS: Milk, juice & soup cartons, etc.

DO NOT RECYCLE:

PAPER/CARDBOARD: Hardback books, frozen food or food- contaminated boxes, plastic pails, #1 & #2 tubs, #1 & #2 trays, food containers or foiled items and #3 thru #7 plastics.
No: Mugs, vases, dishes, bulbs, bake wear or window glass.
No: Plastic Styrofoam, lids, or caps.
No: Motor oil, lubricants, paint or pesticide containers.

HOW TO RECYCLE:

Paper: Put in paper bags or bundle it.
Cardboard: Mix with paper, flatten boxes, and remove styrofoam.
Bottles Cans & Cartons: rinse, remove lids or caps, and place in blue container.
